Here’s a GIC CUB which is returning to us following a month-long rental by WB Chambers Ltd.
Soft fruit experts, WB Chambers, is the largest independent cane fruit grower in the UK, berry importer and packer, supplying quality fruit directly from the farm to many of the country’s major multiples.
Unsurprisingly, in November and December, WB Chambers sees a dramatic increase in demand for its cranberries and this year they needed a short-term boost to their production capabilities and approached us about a short-term rental.
The GIC Cub offers low-cost ownership, with proven robust mechanical and electrical design in a very compact design. Easy to use thanks to an Allen Bradley HMI touch screen, the GIC CUB can produce both Pillow and Gusset pack styles.
With the job done and an extra 300,000 cranberries supplied in the run-up to Christmas, the GIC CUB is no longer needed, so back it comes.
