GIC, the UK designer and manufacturer of vertical-form fill-and-seal packaging machines, has this month become a gold-level partner in the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork™ programme.
Established in 1984, Gainsborough-based GIC has used Rockwell components since 1996 to build highly efficient and robust machines that are relied upon by fresh and frozen food producers, aggregate suppliers, and bullion plant operators in the UK and worldwide.
Rockwell Automation has recognised GIC for providing high-quality, innovative machines that use Rockwell solutions to give customers a competitive advantage. Admission into this global recognition programme means GIC will now receive exclusive training, advice, and ongoing support from Rockwell Automation.
To join this programme, manufacturers, such as GIC, must meet strict criteria for operational excellence, application expertise and customer focus. All such partners must be committed to providing the most productive and cost-effective automation solutions for customers.
Andy Beal, Managing Director of GIC, is delighted that Rockwell Automation has recognised the company: “Rockwell Automation is a global business, and its Allen-Bradley® products are some of the best in the world. We have made a conscious decision to use high-quality products and systems within our machines, as it means our customers receive the highest level of efficiencies and reliability. We have also made a conscious decision to ensure our customer service is the best we can offer. As you can see by us becoming a Gold OEM Partner, Rockwell Automation has seen this and has invited us to join its PartnerNetwork™. The access to further support and training will help us to continue to develop machines that deliver excellent performance and reliability for our customers.”
“We are proud to have GIC achieve a gold-level status in our OEM programme,” said Vincenzo Monaco, Manager, OEM and Portfolio Marketing, Rockwell Automation. “Not only does this gold designation help Rockwell Automation partner with GIC on initiatives, it also adds diversity to our range of partners, delivering coordinated market planning and improved customer engagement with co-managed objectives.”
